Update on Tax Codes

The Revenue will shortly issue a further tranche of tax codes to employers. The Revenue is aware of the problems caused by many thousands of incorrect codes issued in January and February, and will try to avoid issuing wrong codes. This means that employers may not receive a new tax code for every employee. The instructions are to continue to use the current code in the 2010/11 tax year until a new tax code is issued.
